StEve the Tawny Owl – Update
StEve was eventually released on 31st March with another Tawny Owl that just needed a bit of TLC from a mobile aviary near Kingsteignton. Both birds were BTO-ringed for monitoring purposes and we hope that they live long and healthy lives.

A Very Urban Barn Owl Nest
A young Barn Owl was spotted on scaffolding outside Belotti`s delicatessen in Cardigan (Wales) last week, and was happy to pose for pictures taken by delighted shoppers. Maria Belotti said “It just stayed there while people took pictures. It’s not something that you see everyday. It’s nice to know they are in town.”
