Volunteering for the Barn Owl Trust

Have you got time to spare?Aviary cleaning

Volunteering can be very worthwhile and need not take up a lot of your time.

We only have a small workforce and therefore rely on volunteers to help our staff during their normal working day (Monday – Friday 9 to 5).  Tasks include; aviary cleaning, ground maintenance, vehicle cleaning, data input, general admin tasks and much, much more.

If you are able to offer assistance on a regular basis, even if it is only half a day a week or one day a month, please contact the office for an application form.

Volunteers Mailings In Barn Owl Trust OfficeRegular volunteers are a wonderful asset, but if you can’t make a regular commitment (during office hours), maybe you could help out occasionally.

If you are close enough you could help us with mailings approximately twice a year or join us once a month for practical work on the Lennon Legacy Project.

Wherever you live you could run a fundraising event like a coffee morning, a cheese and wine party, a jumble sale, or you could find homes for our leaflet dispensers to spread the word about our work – contact the office  for more information.

Fund Raising Event [Susi Richardson]“We have been volunteering for the Barn Owl Trust on a regular basis for more than eight years and gain a great sense of achievement from being able to help the Trust continue its work.” Pat and Jenny Ford – volunteers

“I’ve been helping out since 2011 and no two days have been the same. There is always lots to do and it’s great to know my help really makes a difference”. Kim Baker – volunteer.
