Talks by the Barn Owl Trust

As well as two standard presentations (entitled ‘Restoring the Balance' and ‘The Lennon Legacy Project') and presentations given during standard training sessions (‘Barn Owl Ecology, Surveys and Signs', 'Advanced Barn Owl Surveying and Mitigation', and the ‘Nestbox Workshop'), the Barn Owl Trust has provided special one-off presentations by invitation. Over the years these have included:

  • Barn Owl training sessions for UK government wildlife inspectors
  • Ornithological Society annual general meetings

  • University School of Veterinary Medicine (Bristol)

  • Presentation at the Annual Symposium of the British Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (BWRC).
  • Presentation of a paper at the 1st European Congress of Conservation Biology in Hungary
  • Presentation of 2 papers at the World Owl Conference in The Netherlands
  • Portuguese University lecture (Évora)
  • Lecture at the SW Regional Conference of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management
  • Presentation at the national Birdfair (Rutland)
