Devon Barn Owl Survey 2013
The Barn Owl Trust is seeking volunteers to assist with the Devon Barn Owl Survey.
During July to November 2013 trained Survey volunteers will be visiting all the farms in certain pre-selected map squares to interview all farmers (etc.) and gather reliable reports of Barn Owls. You will need a car but should be able to do your survey quite close to home. Please register your interest as soon as possible by post, or email info@barnowltrust.org.uk
Requirements:
- Understanding of issues facing farmland birds.
- Good people skills
- Able to read map references

Volunteer Carpenter/Joiner required
We have a vacancy for a Carpenter /Joiner primarily to build Barn Owl nest boxes for sale over the next 6 months but also to help with other occasional projects such as building sheds and replacing aviaries.

Ideally the right person would have previous carpentry/joinery skills and be capable of working on their own. Depending on demand we anticipate that this would be approximately one or two days a week.
