Redkites.net
This website aims to raise public awareness of the Red Kites in the Chilterns through providing information on a range of kite topics, including behaviour, diet, breeding, nesting, how to read wing tags, and how to report Red Kite sightings. The website also gives advice on what to do, and who to contact if you discover a dead/injured kite, in addition to providing details of experienced people you can contact for red kite enquiries in the Chilterns. As well as a photo gallery, the site also has video clips that show kites nesting, as well as a group of red kite chicks in a holding pen prior to their translocation to a new area. Audio clips give you the chance to hear the kites calling to each other in woodland.
